About Me

Matthew grew up in Johnson County, KS, where he attended Blue Valley Schools and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Political Science. Along with his insurance licenses, Matthew also hold Series 6 and 63 financial securities licenses and has obtained his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation and Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP).


Upon graduation, Matthew moved to the Kansas City area and married his college sweetheart, Catherine (she spells it Caety). Matthew and Caety now reside in the Prairie Village area and have a daughter, Eleanor, and son, Thomas. In his free time, Matthew enjoys golfing, reading, watching movies, going to Royals and Chiefs games and hanging out with friends and family. Matthew also enjoys all things KU.

Matthew MeyerAgency Responsibilities:
Matthew is the Owner/Operator of the Agency and has overseen the business since its inception in 2005. 19 years later he is proud that the Agency has grown every year and has obtained both Toppers and Championship status. Matthew prides himself on providing first class service and taking the time to educate his clients on the various insurance products Farmers offers. Through this education a better understanding of what exposures and coverage requirements are necessary to personalize each policy individually. Matthew also meets with existing clients annually to make sure coverage is continually updated as needs change.


Matthew’s Passion is:

Family. All of Matthew’s efforts to build a successful Agency stem back to the desire to provide for his family. Matthew has married into a large family. He is continuously going from one event to another. When between family meetings he takes time to give back. Matthew is active in the community, helping the March of Dimes, Harvesters and Happy Bottoms organizations as well as the Prairie Village Police department.
